	The National Collection of Industrial, Marine and Food Bacteria (NCIMB) has grown as a reference culture collection since its origination in the 1950s. We now manage over 7,750 strains, many unique to us, and we are continuously expanding through the acquisition of private collections and new accessions. NCIMB is a member of CABRI (Common Access to Biological Resources and Information).
