PhenePlate™ is an automated “fingerprinting” system for phenotyping of bacterial strains below the species level, capable of testing more than 500 bacterial isolates per day. Results are presented as a dendrogram showing the relations between the investigated isolates and a list of the obtained phenotypes.

PhenePlate™ biochemical fingerprinting is highly discriminatory, automated and objective, and simple to use, requiring no special equipment apart from a scanner or plate reader and having low material costs.
