Material Transfer Agreement
Our standard terms of supply are for non commercial use such as research, teaching or quality control.
We also offer licenses for commercial use of our strains. These are negotiated on a case by case basis.
Non commercial use
If you are purchasing strains for non-commercial uses such as quality control, education or research, you must read and sign our material transfer agreement before we can process you order. There are two parts to this agreement - the full document, and a one page summary for signing.
Some key points of the agreement are listed below.
Our culture collection is a fantastic resource for industry, and NCIMB offers licenses for commercial use of strains.
- Commercial use is only permitted with prior agreement.
- We negotiate the terms of commercial licenses on a case by case basis.
- Please contact us using the form on this page or by emailing email@example.com if you would like more information.
Please note that fees charged for the supply of cultures, or for the granting of a commercial license by NCIMB are a contribution to our costs of sequencing, storage, and maintenance of the culture collection as a whole, and use of the NCIMB catalogue numbering system to identify the strain.
